The data show that in October, the average price of heavy-tire radial tires (12.00R20-18PR) was 2,106 yuan/barrel, unchanged from the previous month, up 1.7% year-on-year; the average price of passenger car radial tires (215/55R16) was 556 yuan/barrel, unchanged from the previous month. This was a year-on-year increase of 5.9%; light-duty truck tires (7.50-16-14PR) were 637 yuan/barrel, unchanged from the previous quarter and up 2.1% year-on-year.
In addition, the decline in Chinese tire export prices has slowed.
In October, the average price of tires for passenger car exports was US$2467.3/ton, a slight increase of 0.1% QoQ and a year-on-year decrease of 11.6%. The average price of passenger car tires exported was US$ 1974/ton, a slight decrease of 0.3% QoQ and a decrease of 11.3% YoY; The average export price of construction tyres (wheel rims larger than 61 cm) was 2411.7 USD/ton, which was a decrease of 2.5% from the previous month and a year-on-year decrease of 10.2%.
The report said that since the beginning of this year, domestic tire prices have remained basically stable and have been operating at a low level. It is expected that the domestic tire market prices in the future will increase with the increase in raw material prices.
