Experts said that this technology has achieved high CO gas conversion of synthetic ammonia and utilization of high-CO exhaust gas in industrial furnaces, solved the technical equipment problems that have long plagued enterprises, and created new roads for comprehensive utilization of resources, carbon emission reduction, and environmental purification.
According to Xie Dingzhong, Chairman of Hunan Anxi and chief engineer, there is no precedent for this technology at home and abroad, and isothermal low-temperature conversion reactor is its core equipment. The successful operation showed that this technology has significant advantages: First, the concentration of CO entering the system is as high as 75% to 80%, which is high CO raw gas; Second, the axial and radial temperatures of the bed temperature are stable at 219 °C ~ 222 °C, completely solved the problem of over-temperature fly temperature; Third, the isothermal converter resistance is almost zero, the system resistance is less than 0.01 MPa; Fourth, the technology can follow the requirements of the product on the CO, adjust the water vapor ratio can easily Control the CO concentration in the outlet change gas; Fifthly, the bed temperature can be easily adjusted by controlling the steam pressure of the steam drum; Sixthly, the intermediate pressure steam produced by changing the reaction heat is used almost completely; the natural circulation of the reactor water vapor system is not powered; and the seventh is the saturated steam. After the system overheats, it can be sent out or used by the system.
It is understood that how to transform and use CO with a concentration as high as 75% to 85% has always been a problem in the industry. There are no mature and reasonable solutions at home and abroad. This results in the exhaustion of large amounts of CO tail gas in the exhaust gas of industrial furnaces, or burning of fuel, resulting in a lot of waste of resources and carbon emissions.
Traditional CO conversion technology is a multi-stage adiabatic reaction technology and it is difficult to apply to the conversion of high CO gas. If the CO concentration is about 65%, the conversion reaction will be very severe, and the reaction temperature will also rise to an uncontrollable level. The traditional technology needs to use 4 to 5 conversion furnaces, and the middle is equipped with complicated temperature-controlled heat exchange equipment. Not only does the reaction process take a long time, but also the resistance is large, the system resistance reaches 0.4-0.6 MPa, and the operation difficulty is also large.
