Heilongjiang Province Holds New Investment Promotion Conference for Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing Industry

As the highlight of the Fifth Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, on the 31st, the signing ceremony of the Heilongjiang New Agricultural Machinery Equipment Manufacturing Industry Investment Conference and Project was held in Harbin. This is the first time that Heilongjiang Province has held a business invitation meeting for agricultural machinery, which aims to publicize the Heilongjiang Province agricultural machinery industry development plan and investment promotion policies, and increase the investment in agricultural machinery manufacturing industry parks. It also marks that Heilongjiang Province is striving to move forward from the use of large farm machinery to the manufacture of agricultural machinery.

The China Merchants Association was chaired by Li Guojun, deputy inspector of the Provincial Agriculture Commission and director of the Agricultural Machinery Department. Jin Jibin, deputy secretary general of the provincial government, made an important speech. At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission introduced the development of agricultural mechanization in Heilongjiang Province and related policies. The responsible persons from Harbin, Jiamusi, Qitaihe, Daqing, Qiqihaer and the State Farming Administration introduced the local investment promotion policies and development plans.

China Merchants Association also held 8 project signing ceremony. During the ceremony, famous domestic and foreign agricultural machinery companies such as China National Machinery Corporation Luoyang Yiduo Co., Ltd., John Deere Company, Granite Group and Shandong Gold Billion Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. signed high-horsepower tractors and corn in Qiqihar and Daqing. Harvesting machines and large farm tools and other project cooperation agreements. The contract amounted to 1.8 billion yuan.

According to reports, although Heilongjiang Province has a high level of agricultural mechanization, it is only a large province for agricultural machinery, and it is not yet a large province for agricultural machinery manufacturing. At present, most of the agricultural machinery in Heilongjiang Province are purchased from outside the province or abroad, and the self-sufficiency rate is less than 20%. To this end, Heilongjiang Province has accelerated the pace of development of the agricultural machinery manufacturing equipment industry this year.
