Float level gauge installation

Float type liquid level meter is divided into floating and floating two.

The installation of the float level gauge is shown in Figure 19-9. A guide should be provided in the container to prevent the liquid in the container from pulsating and biasing the float.
The guides are tubular guides, ring guides and rope guides. A small hole is drilled in the wall of the tube guide. In order to facilitate the dredging of the bottom of the tank, the bottom of the pipe should be about 120mm away from the bottom of the tank and supported by a bracket. Firmly fixed, the pipe should be installed vertically. Rope type guide device, the distance between two steel ropes is determined by the size of the guide ring on the buoy. In order to ensure the vertical installation of the steel cable, the fixing point of the cable locking part at the bottom of the container must be determined from the top of the container, as shown in Fig. l9-10.

After the pontoon and buoy are installed, they should be flexible in the up and down activities without any jamming.

Float type liquid level switch, the short pipe welded on the container should not be too long, it should ensure that the float can move freely within the full range of travel.

The installation of the outer buoyancy level gauge is shown in Figure 19-11.

Generally speaking, there is a centerline mark on the floating shell, and the installation height of the buoyancy level gauge is determined by the centerline of the floating shell and the t/2 of the full range of the measured liquid level of the container.

The buoyancy enclosure is connected with a side-to-side flange. The short pipe flanges welded on the process vessel, the center distance between the upper and lower flanges. The position of the flange bolt holes must be faced, and the center of the flange is on the same vertical line.
If the buoyancy shell is connected with top-bottom thread or flange connection, the prefabricated pipe fittings should be pre-measured in size, and then be unloaded. When pairing the pipe fittings, the center line of the buoyancy enclosure should be consistent with the midpoint between the upper and lower flanges of the container, and ensure that The housing is in a vertical position.

The valves used in the buoyancy level gauges must be tested after passing the pressure test and qualified for leak detection. The pressure gauges should be tested together with the equipment after installation.
