Structure
The DL/XBD series jockey pump is vertically mounted. The inlet located at upper side of the pump, the outlet located at underside, both are at horizontal direction. Be able to increase the number of the stages according to the head. Depend on installing condition the outlet can rotate 90, 180 and 270 degrees to adjust the direction of outlet. The axial forces of pump are balanced by balancing drum. The pump has the features of compact structure, low noise and space-saving. The shaft seal can be either packing seal or mechanical seal.
The materials of medium-contacting parts
Suction casing, stage casing, discharge casing, vane, impeller are made of cast iron, .
The material of shaft is high--quality carbon steel.
If the customers have special requirement for materials, consult with manufacturer.
DL/XBD series jockey pump are single-suction multi-stage vertical segmental centrifugal pump. DL/XBD jockey pump is widely used for water boosting in fire fighting system. It is provided for transferring clear water or other liquid with physically and chemically similar to clear water. The temperature of the liquid generally is below 80 deg C. Investment Casting Lost Wax Casting
Investment casting, which is also known lost wax casting or precision casting, refers to the formation of ceramic around the wax patterns to create a multi or single part mold to receive molten metal. This process utilizes an expendable injection molded wax pattern process to achieve complex forms with exceptional surface qualities. To create a mold, a wax pattern, or cluster of patterns, is dipped into ceramic material several times to build a thick shell. Die-wax process is then followed by the shell dry process. The wax-less ceramic shell is then produced. Molten metal is then poured into the ceramic shell cavities or cluster, and once solid and cooled, the ceramic shell is broken off to reveal the final cast metal object. Investment castings can achieve exceptional accuracy for both small and large castings in a wide range of materials.
