Asphalt mixing should be based on the requirements of the road construction, project size and construction period to determine the production capacity of mixing equipment.

Choosing the right model must also consider the ability to match friends' work.

The product selection first determines the productivity (productivity is replaced by Q) and the following formula is derived: Q=SHR/NKT

S = paving area (m2)

H = floor thickness (m)

N = planned construction time (days)

R = compacted density, take 2.4t/m3; T = more than ten working hours per day, take 10h (hours);

K=construction day coefficient (considering only rain and maintenance time regardless of holidays) K=number of possible working days/number of planned calendar days during the construction period,

Generally, the productivity Q calculated from the above formula by taking K=0.8 h is the required production capacity of the asphalt mixing equipment.

The actual choice of equipment must meet and exceed this productivity in order to meet normal construction requirements.
