40 Emergent Trapped Tourists Successfully Rescued in Songshan, Qingdao

After four hours of intense search and rescue by the fire department, trapped people were rescued.

It is reported that trapped tourists are all mountaineering enthusiasts. They climbed through non-tourist attraction routes and climbed to the Bashui River in the Taiqing scenic spot of Shushan, where they were suddenly trapped in heavy rain and mountain torrents.

The fire department immediately dispatched four search and rescue teams consisting of firefighters to receive personal protective equipment and rescue equipment such as rescue ropes, flashlights, medical first aid kits, lifebuoys, etc., and divide them into two search and rescue teams. The approximate location described by the policeman went hiking up the mountain to start search and rescue.

At 15:20, the first search and rescue team at the location of the Longtan Waterfall and the middle section of the Shangqing Palace in Lushan met with the callers who came down to meet the police. They followed the callers to search for other trapped tourists.

At 15:30, the search and rescue team found the first trapped visitor next to a river. The visitor climbed on the tree to avoid the flood. At any time, the visitor could be washed away by the flood. The search and rescue personnel immediately saw the ropes. Rescue tools. Ten minutes later, the visitor climbed down the tree and reached a safe location. In the next three hours, 40 trapped tourists were found and successfully rescued.

At 1840 hours, after the tense mood of 40 frightened tourists recovered slightly, the fire department immediately sent a rescue vehicle to send the tourists to the foothills in batches. The relatives and friends of the trapped tourists then picked them up one after another.
