Understanding the washing process

Water scrubbing force or mechanical force is a clay or clay cemented more ore, the ore of granular, fine mud during the washing and separating ore surface. Sand, gold , platinum , tungsten, tin and other minerals such as lead , copper , iron and manganese with deep oxidation and weathering are often necessary preparations before or after crushing or beneficiation .

The sandstone for construction and the clay for light industry often need to be cleaned by washing. The washability of the ore indicates the ease with which the slime is washed from the ore. It is mainly related to the nature, content and existence of clay in the ore.

Commonly used in washing equipment are hydraulic washing screen, cylindrical washing machine, trough washing machine, plane screening machine and spiral classifier. The chute can also be used for washing. The hydraulic washing screen is a washing method which uses a water gun to rinse on a fixed strip screen and is used for washing difficult ore in China. The cylindrical washing machine includes a cylindrical sieve and a cylinder scrubber. The former has a higher rotational speed, and a longitudinal riser, an annular baffle and a high-pressure water spray device are arranged on the inner wall of the sieve cylinder to improve the breaking ability and is used for easy washing ore. The latter cylinder is divided into two sections, the front section is non-porous, used to soak and disintegrate the ore, and the latter section has holes for the separation of mud and stone.

The cylinder scrubber is mostly double-layered, and there are also lifting plates and high-pressure water spray devices in the cylinder. The trough-shaped washing machine is often used for difficult-washing ore. It consists of a sloping semi-circular metal trough and two sets of mutually interlaced, relatively rotating spiral blades with a strong scrubbing effect. Pre-soaking the ore, setting high-pressure water spray during the washing process, applying vibration, adding a small amount of chemicals (for example, 1% concentration of NaOH), etc., can improve the washing efficiency. The washing efficiency has a great impact on the next process and should be taken seriously.
