China Drying Network On February 18, the Shanxi Coal Group revealed that the foundation stone laying ceremony of the group's 12,000 Nm3/h gas refinery test project was held in Xiacun Town, Zezhou County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. This project is the first project in Shanxi province to explore new ways of using low-concentration gas.
The project uses the waste gas from the gob of the coal mine as the raw material to produce methane gas products with a methane concentration of more than 30%, and enters the pipeline facilities for downstream use. The project has passed the feasibility study, preliminary design, construction drawing design, construction bidding and other phases and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2013.
