Shaanxi Auto has been preparing for Australia certification since the beginning of 2012. The project has spent a year with the support of the provincial SASAC and the company’s leaders at all levels. It has undergone market research, product configuration determination, certification testing and restructuring, and compliance inspection. The series of work was reviewed by the Australian Department of Transportation in February 2013 and became the first heavy truck company in China to obtain certification.
After the company obtained the Australian certification, many Australian agents took the initiative to contact Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck Import and Export Corporation to inquire about the relevant vehicle model information, and hoped to obtain the agency rights of Shaanqi Group heavy truck brand. With the efforts of the employees of Shaanxi Automobile Group Import and Export Company and the support of various units, the first batch of 6 tractors' orders were successfully obtained. At present, the batch of vehicles has completed assembly work and is in a period of intense debugging and acceptance. The vehicles are expected to be officially shipped in the near future and delivered to customers in November.
