At the M8 listing conference of the Hippocampus, we also saw the production version of the hippocampus M5. This is the first time that the production version of this model has appeared before us. According to official sources, the Haima M5 will be officially listed next year.

The hippocampus M5 is actually known as the Fumeilai. Because the future hippocampal cars will use the name “M”, the future hippocampus will become the hippocampus M5. It is unclear whether this cash Fumeilai is producing for the same generation, but the manufacturer has not denied this possibility.

In terms of power, according to the data provided by the manufacturer's site, there will be two engines, namely 1.6L naturally aspirated engines (125 horsepower/92kW) and 1.5L turbocharged engines (163 horsepower/120kW), with 6 Block manual gearbox and 6-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of configuration, the electric sunroof, reversing image, large-screen multimedia system, Bluetooth phone, multi-function steering wheel, and constant speed cruising were all seen on the hippocampus M5 from the models we captured on the spot. However, these configurations were eventually put on the market. Whether it still exists, it cannot be determined at present.

Suspension, according to official information provided by the manufacturer, said the hippocampus M5 will use the former McPherson-style independent suspension and the rear E-type multi-link independent suspension, maintaining the tradition of the Fumei to multi-link rear suspension. In today's era of torsion beam-type non-independent suspension, it is worthwhile to affirm that the independent rear suspension is still used in the hippocampus.

Haima Motor will be officially released and listed on the Haima M5 next year. As a product of the domestic-made compact brand, Haima Motors is still very confident of the M5. The design hired an Italian designer and the chassis adjustment was also from overseas teams. This shows that the hippocampus M5 is playing an important role in the hippocampus automotive product line. As a replacement for the classic model, Fumei, what kind of performance will the Haima M5 have, and we have to wait until after the official listing to see what happens.
