MacGregor wins 2 wellhead intervention ship ROV inlet equipment

It is reported that MacGregor has received a contract from the German shipyard Flensburger Schiffbau Gesellschaft to deliver a complete set of remotely operated ROV entrance doors and hatch covers for two wellhead intervention vessels. The order was entered in the second half of 2014. According to reports, the two ships will be serviced by Norwegian offshore operator Siem Offshore.
According to Stefan Wide, who is responsible for the sale of imported equipment, MacGregor has been committed to providing a variety of inlet equipment to shipyards that build such ships, and we have a strong market position in this regard.
The MacGregor contract for the two 158-meter-long new ships includes the design, delivery, installation and commissioning of these entrance doors and hatches, which are expected to take place at the Flensburg shipyard in 2015-2016.
