It is reported that the project was formally launched in April 2012, and the academician Gao Jinji of Beijing University of Chemical Technology was the chief scientist. This project is a key project for basic research in China's general machinery industry. It addresses the needs of industrial development in China and studies in depth the highly efficient, reliable, and intelligent operation technology of compressors. There are 6 research topics in total and the complex and high-parameter compressors are under complicated conditions. The study of non-steady boundary conditions and the mechanism of stability enhancement, the deterioration mechanism of key components, the association rule of main and auxiliary systems, and the diagnosis and self-healing of faults.
After the project was launched, the relevant units attached great importance to investing in research work and making good progress. In September 2013, the mid-term summary of the project was held in Beijing. The meeting was chaired by Academician Gao Jinshi, and the relevant personnel of the Department of Basic Science of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education participated. The six project leaders who participated in the summary meeting respectively reported on the research progress, innovation, and key breakthroughs of the project topics.
In January 2016, the project's 2015 annual inspection report was held in Beijing. More than 50 experts including professors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, National University of Defense Technology and other universities and project team members attended the conference. The chief scientist of the project, Academician Gao Jinji, made a report on the overall situation of the project. Each undertaking unit made a work report and an academic report respectively, and reported on the progress of the annual research of the project, breakthroughs achieved, and engineering applications.
At the acceptance meeting, the project's chief scientist, Academician Gao Jinji, and six project leaders respectively reported on the research results, level and innovation, and implementation effectiveness of the project. After the questions and discussions of the participating experts, the accomplishment of the planned tasks of the six projects of the project, the results of the projects, and their role in promoting the development of the discipline were recognized. The project passed the acceptance.
The research of this project is of great significance for promoting the basic research level of high-end compressors in China and achieving the independent design of high-end compressors.
