There are many ways to boring the bore on a CNC horizontal lathe, mainly in the following ways:

The above several ways of processing the inner holes have their own advantages. The structures shown in Figures a, b and c are suitable for processing inner holes with a diameter of φ80 mm or less and a length to diameter ratio of ≤3, and are more suitable for smaller depths of cut; When the various parameters are larger than the above description, the vibrating knife and the knife will appear, resulting in a large roughness value of the inner hole of the workpiece. The inner hole is eight characters, but the structure is simple, and the operation is a common way to machine the inner hole. . The structure shown in Figure d can process deep holes with large diameter and large diameter. However, the diameter of the boring bar is generally controlled below φ130mm. If the diameter of the boring bar is too large, the boring block will be lengthened as a whole. The rigidity of the entire process system, such as the tool holder, is greatly weakened, as shown in Figures e and f.

Second, the design of the new boring tool holder

From the above introduction, no matter the traditional knife-type boring tool holder or the ordinary boring holder, the deep hole with large diameter and long diameter is not satisfied. For this reason, a new type of é•— is designed. The tool holder can effectively avoid the phenomenon shown in the figures e and f, thus ensuring various precision requirements of the inner hole of the machined part.

The boring holder is driven by the saddle to realize the feeding of the Z-axis in the positive and negative directions. The slide is driven to realize the feeding of the X-axis in the positive and negative directions, as shown in Figure 1:

The boring holder is mounted on the skateboard, and is composed of a lower body of the boring holder, an upper body, a guide rail, a pressure plate and an upper and lower boring tool sleeve. The boring bar is installed in the upper and lower boring sleeves of the upper and lower body of the boring holder, and a plurality of hex head bolts and The positioning pin is tight. The lower part of the boring holder is integrally mounted on the sliding plate, and is tightly coupled to the sliding plate by screws and pins; the X-direction guide rail is mounted on the saddle, and the sliding plate is combined with the pressing plate to form a sliding guide pair, which is driven by the sliding plate along the X-axis; The thickness of the boring tool sleeve can meet the clamping requirements of different diameter boring bars, so as to realize the processing requirements of different workpieces.

During the installation process, the height of the upper part of the slide plate and the center of the main shaft should be measured, and the lower part of the boring holder should be equipped to ensure that the center of the main shaft is coplanar with the center of the mast. At the same time, the mounting base of the guide rail and the lower part of the boring holder should be measured. The height difference of the upper rail surface is achieved by fitting the underside of the guide rail to meet the assembly requirements; after completing the above two sequences, it is necessary to scrape the plastic coated rail plate between the guide rail pairs to achieve the assembly technical requirements of the sliding guide pair, to ensure the guide rail The smoothness of the secondary motion process also requires regular lubrication of the guide rails.

The operation of the machining process is completely the same as that of the CNC lathe. If it is necessary to dig the deeper inner hole, the emulsion can be realized by selecting the squeegee of the intermediate water type.

The boring holder of this structure is tested and tested at a plurality of processing users. When processing large diameter deep holes, it can fully meet various technical requirements, and prove that the structure is reasonable and applicable.
